In ancient Greece, no ship left port without honoring Poseidon first. For a premium cruise event in Piraeus, we designed a Greek mythology welcome experience: as guests stepped on board, Poseidon, Amphitrite, Athena, Artemis and Apollo were waiting to greet them, setting the tone for the voyage before anyone reached their cabin.

Our Gods of Olympus concept is an entire pantheon brought to life. Each character is styled from head to toe, with a costume, props and a story of their own, so the welcome feels like stepping into a myth. It works as a greeting, a photo opportunity and a conversation starter, while the event flows naturally around it.
Poseidon was a perfect fit for a premium cruise event, and guests could not resist a photo with the god of the sea and his trident. In ancient Greece, sailors made offerings to him before every voyage, asking for calm waters and a safe return home.
Amphitrite was a custom character we designed especially for this event, with a crown of shells and starfish and a sea-blue gown. In mythology she was the queen of the sea, one of the Nereids and the wife of Poseidon. In Homer’s Odyssey, her name is used for the sea itself.
Side by side, with their golden tridents, the king and queen of the sea made the perfect welcome for guests about to set sail.
Tridents, golden armour and a lyre turned the arrival into a living backdrop, and every guest left with a photo before the ship even left port.
A welcome like this works best where guests arrive together: a cruise departure, a hotel opening, a corporate arrival, a welcome reception or the first evening of an incentive trip.
Characters, costumes and props can be adapted to the theme of the event, the venue and the number of guests, from a single pair of gods to an entire pantheon.
Hair and make-up started hours before the guests arrived. Each goddess has her own hairstyle, crown and jewelry, prepared to match the character, and a few laughs before the welcome are part of the process too.

We have also welcomed VIP guests at the airport with Greek mythology characters and created an Ancient Greek inspired wedding in the Athens Riviera.
